The slim jewel case is as popular as the standard CD case. It is half the thickness of the standard jewel case and very light weight, saving on space and postage costs when mailed. It is of 2 piece construction with no removable tray, a clear front case, with a black rear tray only that holds 1 CD or DVD Disc. The tray or base is usually black but available in a variety of colors such as orange, purple, pink, clear and blue.
